Showcasing three unique restaurants in
one app.
Project 1 Overview
This project required a great deal of design and coding, utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to build a seamless restaurant selection and ordering app. The app allows users to explore three unique restaurants, view menus, place orders, and manage reservations—all in one platform. With a focus on modern and intuitive design, the app ensures that users can easily navigate between restaurants, make reservations, and contact any of the eateries directly. The result is a convenient, user-friendly experience where all interactions—from browsing to booking—are handled in one streamlined location.
Challenges and Objectives
This project aimed to create an all-in-one app that allows users to explore, order from, and make reservations at three distinct restaurants. One of the main challenges was designing a seamless user interface that maintains ease of navigation while accommodating the unique offerings of each restaurant. Integrating functionalities such as browsing menus, placing orders, and making reservations required careful technical execution to ensure smooth communication between users and restaurants. The objective was to deliver a modern, user-friendly experience that allows users to effortlessly switch between restaurants, while also optimizing the app for performance across various devices. Balancing visual appeal with functionality was essential to create an intuitive app that enhances the overall dining experience.
Tools Used
In this project, I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for designing graphics and the user interface. HTML and CSS were utilized for the app's structure and styling, while JavaScript enabled interactive features for browsing menus, placing orders, and managing reservations seamlessly.
